Binance, a cryptocurrency exchange and blockchain developer, has announced the integration of ChatGPT, an AI chatbot, into its education platform, Binance Academy. The new tool, named “Binance Sensei,” uses machine learning to source answers from Binance Academy to help users learn about Web3. Users can prompt the bot with specific questions or keywords, and it will provide concise 150-word summaries in response. The announcement has sparked reactions on Twitter, with some users expressing concern about relying on a “robot teacher.”
However, Binance Sensei is not the first AI-based learning tool in the crypto space, with big tech companies like Microsoft, Google, and Alibaba also introducing similar technologies. The rise of AI has led to an increase in concern over its unchecked capabilities, and regulators across the European Union are probing the AI algorithms of big tech companies. Some industry insiders predict an upcoming regulatory crackdown on AI as it becomes more pervasive. Meanwhile, authorities in China are set to enforce mandatory security reviews for all AI services in the country.
