Recent data from Ahrefs shows that Bitcoin is the most searched term in the United States, even more popular than guns, Chuck Norris, health insurance, and politics. This means that Americans are very interested in Bitcoin, and the state with the highest number of Bitcoin searches is Nevada, which has been dubbed the “most Bitcoin-crazy state” in the U.S.
Donald Trump is also a popular search topic, but he only comes in second place after Bitcoin. Other popular search terms following Bitcoin and Trump include breaking news, Elvis Presley, and Disney World. However, in the last 30 days, searches for Donald Trump exceeded those for Bitcoin for only two days when rumors of his possible arrest surfaced.
Nevada is the state with the most Bitcoin searches, followed by Miami, California, and Washington. One reason for this is because of lower taxes and local government initiatives to promote innovation. Additionally, Nevada’s long-standing gambling industry may contribute to its interest in Bitcoin.
