Mythical 24/7 Launches on Web3’s Rewarded.tv with Token Rewards

The channel, called Mythical 24/7, will feature Rhett & Link’s flagship YouTube talk and variety series “Good Mythical Morning,” their food-focused series “Mythical Kitchen,” and their podcast “Ear Biscuits.” Users who watch the channel on Rewarded. tv can earn the platform’s native RPLAY token, which can be redeemed to unlock premium content and other perks. The RPLAY token incentivizes users to watch films, TV shows, and live channels and is powered by Theta, a layer-1 blockchain network focused on video streaming. Rewarded. tv is one of many Web3-native media offerings using gamification and tokenized ecosystems to attract audiences. The platform’s ultimate goal is to onboard mass audiences to Web3 with premium content from familiar brands. However, the success of this strategy will depend on whether the platform and its tokenized ecosystem are easily navigable by users who are not familiar with crypto.
