The cryptocurrency market experienced a sharp decline over the last 24 hours, with Bitcoin losing 2.49% of its value. As a result, over $137 million worth of crypto got liquidated during this period, according to data from Coinglass.
The majority of liquidations occurred in long positions, with BTC and ETH accounting for the highest liquidation amounts, at $62.9 million and $31.53 million, respectively. OKX and Binance facilitated the largest amounts of liquidations, with $47.63 million and $45.39 million, respectively.
The market decline affected 91 coins, with notable decreases in XinFin (XDC), SingularityNET (AGIX), and Stacks (STX), which lost 6.68%, 6.37%, and 5.71% of their value, respectively. Additionally, ETH, XRP (XRP), Cardano (ADA), and Solana (SOL) lost 3.05%, 2.83%, and 5.4%, respectively.
Despite the overall market drop, the media sector experienced a 16.77% growth in the last 24 hours, according to data from CryptoSlate.
